My web site has a template - sort of a "look" to it that's (supposed to) be consistent from page to page. The miniBB forum you are reading now has its own ideas about templates, and I'm working on reconciling the two. The main problems are the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the forum section - it shouldn't be there - and the absence of any scroll bars in MS Internet Explorer (MSIE). When these issues are resolved, the forum will appear in an area of the page that looks like my other pages.

As it says on my home page, Firefox will give you the best view at the moment and in general. Some day, MSIE may start adhering to standards, but I'm not holding my breath.

Finally wrestled MSIE into submission. Cascading style sheets ("CSS") are really a bear - especially in the Wally World (MSIE). No ocumentation, contradictory documentation, and baseless rumors characterize CSS in MSIE. Note that I use MSIE version 6, as version 7 has a bunch of unpleasantness about Windows Genuine Advantage, digital rights management (DRM), etc. It may be - it is likely that - compliance with CSS standards is better in version 7. It's an article of faith that it will be less than completely compliant, and that it will be different than v6. A developer's nightmare.

Update: spoke too soon - MSIE still not right. Crapola.
