I wanted to have a place where I could write comments, rants, or observations about the world around me. I don't expect anyone to actually look at this stuff except me and perhaps a few friends. I'm not interested in making money with it, accumulating fans, or otherwise making fame or fortune. As it says on the main page, this is all for my own amusement.
Here is the one and only time you will see this word on my web site: "blog". This word sounds like someone losing his dinner while embracing a toilet. Often, the contents of these things also resemble the result of the porcelain-hugging activity just cited. My musings might, too, but I'm calling them musings to try and avoid suggesting that they are vomitus from the start. Any readers will have to draw their own conclusions about the value of the postings here.
I certainly welcome any comments you may have - the comments part of this area will be moderated, however, but not to censor intelligent thoughts, only to keep spam, porn, stupidity, or personal attacks off the site. ("Moderated" means any comments will need to be approved by me before making it to the site. I will correct grammar and spelling if necessary.) You might check the "About Jim" link before posting a comment here: some content will simply be discarded if it violates my editorial policies, which forbid stupidity.
